Frequently asked questions

What does RAS Health Care Solutions do?

We recover revenue for independent procedural practices: denial appeals, 60+ day AR recovery, underpayment recovery, full-cycle RCM and No Surprises Act IDR disputes, working inside your existing PM/EHR.

How much does it cost?

6–7% of net collections for full-cycle RCM and 10% only on successful No Surprises Act IDR recoveries. No setup fees, retainers or lock-in contracts.

Do we have to change our software or replace staff?

No. We work inside the system you already use, under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, alongside your in-house team.

How fast can you start?

Access in the first three days after the BAA is signed, an AR and denial diagnostic in week one, and full operations from week two.

Who does the work?

Strategy and client partnership are led by Rohit Pandey, backed by a dedicated team of credentialed medical coders (AAPC/AHIMA) and seasoned AR follow-up specialists, with senior oversight on every account.

What PM/EHR systems and clearinghouses do you support?

eClinicalWorks, NextGen, AdvancedMD, Kareo/Tebra, athenahealth and the major clearinghouses. If you use a different system, we confirm compatibility on the first call.

How long does onboarding take?

About two weeks: mutual BAA and access in days 1–3, an AR aging and denial diagnostic in week 1, and full operations from week 2.

Do you offer a free audit?

We don't offer free services. The AR and denial diagnostic happens in week 1 after a BAA is signed; because pricing is contingency-only, there's nothing to pay up front.

How do you protect patient data?

Nothing is accessed before a signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. Access is role-based and audited, work happens inside your systems, and any AI tool that touches PHI is covered by a BAA with human review of every output.

Which states do you work in?

Practices anywhere in the US. Our current focus includes Texas, Florida, Arizona, Georgia and New Jersey.

How do we get reports?

A weekly report to practice leadership covering collections, NCR/GCR, days in AR, denials and appeal status.

Can we cancel?

Yes. There's no lock-in contract or termination fee; the agreement sets a short notice period so open claims can be handed back cleanly.
